About Ahila Subramanian

Biography

Ahila Subramanian, MD, MPH Associate Staff, in the Department Allergy and Clinical Immunology, sees patients at the Strongsville Family Health and Surgery Center. 

After completing a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Subramanian completed a Masters in Public Health at George Washington University and then went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Ohio State University/Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and her specialty training in Allergy and Immunology with fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. She was appointed as staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic in 2013.

Dr. Subramanian enjoys all aspects of allergy and clinical immunology and has special interests in asthma, pediatric asthma, food allergy and the complex relationship between allergy, the environment and our health.

    Doctor is extremely knowledgeable and a caring person. It was my first visit with her so I was anxious not knowing what to expect. I was very pleasantly impressed by the doctor's care for another human being, she is a gem!!!
