Biography
Ajith K. Mathew, MD, MBA, is the Chair of Pediatrics at Fairview Hospital and a Staff Neonatologist in the Division of Neonatology.
Dr. Mathew earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his pediatric residency at Tod Children’s Hospital, part of the Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio, and his neonatology fellowship through the Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth Hospital, and Case Western Reserve University. He also holds an MBA from Youngstown State University.
Dr. Mathew’s clinical interests include respiratory failure in newborns and the care and management of surgical neonates.
