Alan Lichtin, MD

Years ago, I was referred by Dr. Brian Mandel, Rheumatologist, to Dr. Lichtin. I have seen him since for other complaints...because I trust him and greatly appreciate his ability to explain complicated medical tests and terminolgies in an understandable manner. As an aside: Dr. Licthin personally escorted me from his office to the procedure area and made some suggestions about how to fill the wait time. He is also a genuinely nice guy.

Dr. Lichtin is an excellent physician, very caring and explains everything.

There were 3 appointments scheduled, all pertaining to a Bone Biopsy: Lab, cosult and signing of Consent with Dr. Lichtin, and then the procedure.

Dr Lichtin was incredibly informative, personable, and professional. Our first contact was on the phone, and Dr Lichtin initiated my first blood tests remotely (we live in California), analyzed my blood chemisty, advised we meet with Dr Balderman regarding Chemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplant procedures. We are from out of state, travelling for a 2nd opinion so not exactly easy but it has nothing to do w/ Cleveland clinic. Because of concerns about insurance coverage, decided to do most labs Dr. Lichtin wanted back at home state and Dr. Lichtin was very understanding
