Dr. Alex Mejia Garcia is a specialist who works at the Scully-Welsh Cancer Center located at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. Later, he joined the Department of Hematology & Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic-Taussig Cancer Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. His clinical and research focus has been on lymphomas and multiple myeloma.
Dr. Mejia Garcia has been the principal investigator in several national clinical trials and industry-sponsored trials for new lymphoma drugs. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, including Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, the European Journal of Cancer, Cancer, and the Journal of Clinical Medicine Research.
