Biography
Dr. Alexander Craig is a board-certified podiatrist and was appointed to the orthopedic medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2025. He has over a decade of experience in private practice in the Cleveland area diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Craig provides a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to patient care.
Dr. Craig is an Ohio native and obtained his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in 2006, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He completed his medical school education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011 and was awarded membership to the Beta Chapter of the Pi Delta National Podiatry Honor Society. Dr. Craig graduated from podiatric residency at the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California in 2014. He received advanced training in foot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstructive surgery and served as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Craig is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. In his clinical practice, he specializes in:

Experience was very good. From check-in to the time I saw the actual doctor. Doctor was very nice, and listened. Waited a bit in the waiting area, but understood. He did not rush me through the appointment, which was a huge compliment.

Dr. Craig is very easy to talk to. He listens and he responds. He is a very very good Dr. I like seeing him because I know he will address and solve any kind of foot or ankle problem I have. I respect him. I bring friends and family to him because I trust him as a Superior Podiatrist. I recommend him to lots of people.

I would have to say that Dr.Craig is the most knowledgeable doctor ive seen. Dr.Craig listens and explains everything as he goes to make sure you understand whats going on. His action to care is refreshing and I felt very comfortable with entrusting my care to him. I feel that I wont be lead astray and will follow his instructions.

Dr. Alexander Craig is an excellent podiatrist. He took time to check previous records thoroughly . And gave me suggestions on footwear to help with my problem. He is extreme knowledgeable. I was very glad he suggested a follow up visit. I feel relieved to have Dr. Craig as my doctor.

I have been to many providers regarding pain in my ankles. Dr. Craig was the first to diagnose my flat feet as the cause of my pain.

My experience with Dr. Craig was exceptional from start to finish. He listened to my prior course of tx, reviewed my chart with me, explained the cause of the problem and possible treatment options. Considering that I was leaving in 2 days for an extended trip with my grandchildren, he listened to my concerns about problems while out of town, recommended best course of treatment and provided me with instructions should problems arise while traveling. He also gave me preventive recommendations going forward and described a treatment approach should this reoccur. I have already recommended Dr. Craig to others!

I had a great experience with Dr. Craig. He was incredibly thorough and took his time during the exam, making sure to explain everything clearly.
