About Alice Rim

Biography

Alice S. Rim, MD, is Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology in the Imaging Institute at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Rim joined Cleveland Clinic in 1999 after serving as a staff radiologist at the Watson Clinic in Lakeland, Florida. She is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and holds licenses from the states of Ohio, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming. Her specialty interests include interventional breast imaging, breast MRI and high-risk screening.

Dr. Rim received her bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University and her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Her postgraduate training includes an internal medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a radiology residency and breast/body imaging fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

A frequent presenter and lecturer at medical conferences across the country, Dr. Rim also has coauthored numerous articles on diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Rim is a member of various professional societies, including the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America and the Ohio State Radiological Society.
