Dr. Chawla is excellent. He is so personable, knowledgeable, and cares about me and my diagnosis. He also brings me into the decision-making process about my care. He thoroughly explains possible side effects of medication and doesn''t want to risk my overall health.

Dr. Chawla was professional, caring, & I felt he really listened to me. He made eye contact with me, not the computer. He made me feel comfortable & answered all my questions. I would rate him 10 out of 10.

Even though I have only seen him twice, I feel very fortunate to have Dr Chawla as my rheumatologist. He listened to me, obviously had read my chart and made good suggestions and comments. He has reduced the drugs I was taking and I feel 100% better. And he is kind and polite.

Although I likely should have seen an orthopedist rather than rheumatologist, I wanted to know my full range of treatment options, which Dr. Chawla patiently explained. I like that he offered alternatives to the pain medications I was using and suggestions for how to proceed.
