Biography
Amir Gilad, MD, is a general cardiologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based cardiovascular care with a strong focus on prevention, early diagnosis and long-term heart health.
Dr. Gilad joins Cleveland Clinic after completing his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine, where he trained in the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions. Prior to his fellowship, he served as chief resident in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center, demonstrating exceptional leadership, clinical expertise and a commitment to medical education while mentoring residents and caring for patients with complex medical needs. He also completed his internal medicine residency and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Gilad specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, with clinical interests that include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and stress testing, preventive cardiology, lipid management, coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, and preoperative cardiac risk assessment. He is passionate about partnering with patients to identify cardiovascular risk factors early and develop personalized treatment plans that help improve heart health and reduce the risk of future cardiac events.
