Biography
Andrew Feczko, MD, is a thoracic surgeon in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery in The Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He practices at Hillcrest Hospital.
Specialty Interests: Thoracic oncology; surgical approaches to lung, esophageal, mediastinal and pleural cancers; benign foregut surgery; minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic lobectomy/segmentectomy and anti-reflux procedures; achalasia; endoscopic procedures; EndoVAC management and esophageal stenting; and diagnostic bronchoscopy

Education: Dr. Feczko is a graduate of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, Roanoke, Va. He completed a general surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center, Seattle, and received his specialty training at Cleveland Clinic as a fellow in cardiothoracic surgery. He also holds a master’s degree in clinical bioethics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Dr. Feczko joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2021 after completing his fellowship.
Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Feczko has coauthored scientific papers published in leading medical journals, primarily related to clinical studies on thoracic surgery techniques and outcomes. He has presented at national and international medical meetings, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

Dr. Feczko, the surgery team, and Rose, his assistant, as well as every nurse, aide, respiratory therapist and cleaning crew were absolutely wonderful to me and my family. I highly recommended Cleveland Clinic, Hillcrest to all friends and family! THANK YOU for SAVING MY LIFE!!

The surgeon was very attentive and explained what he will do during the surgery in details. After the surgery he explained what he did and answered all our questions. Dr. F_____ is an excellent surgeon and a person.
