Biography
She completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. She has been at the Cleveland Clinic since 2002.
Dr. Advani's major clinical interests include myelodysplasia and acute leukemias, with a particular emphasis on molecular targeted therapies and novel treatment strategies for acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphocytic leukemia.
She is a member of the Southwest Oncology Group Leukemia Committee and serves as Co-Chair for the Data Safety and Monitoring Board committee for clinical trials at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.
