Augusto Tan Hsia, Jr., MD,CCD is on Staff at the Center for Spine Health at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. He accepted that appointment in 2006 after being the chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and a physician of internal medicine and rheumatology at North Shore Medical , Door County Memorial Hospital Wisconsin
His clinical interests include acute and chronic back pain, failed back surgery syndrome, spondyloarthropathies ,lumbar canal stenosis, metabolic bone disease/bone optimization for spinal deformity
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines, and completed a postgraduate internship at Medical Center Manila, Philippines. Dr. Hsia completed a residency in internal medicine at New York University Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a fellowship in clinical transplant at University Hospital of the State University of New York, Stony Brook, N.Y. He completed two fellowships at Cleveland Clinic; one in rheumatology & immunology, and the other in medical spine.

I had a follow up appointment today which the Spine Doctor Khalid cancelled when he reviewed my history. He commented about this recent appointment with Dr. Hsia and that it was not necessary to follow up with him further. Please make a note for MyChart as there was a referral and apparently Dr. Hsia's appointment was adequate as there were no new symptoms.
