Biography
Dr. Bethany Lehman, DO is a member of the Cleveland Clinic Department of Infectious Diseases in which she provides consulting services at Main Campus, Marymount Hospital and South Pointe Hospital. She completed her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. She went on to complete her Internal medicine Residency at South Pointe Hospital and completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic in 2019. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she also serves as Associate Outpatient Chair of the Infectious Disease Department.
In following her passion of mentorship among fellows, residents, and staff, she is currently serving as Core Faculty for the Infectious Disease Fellowship as well as the Infectious Disease Specialty Education Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Within academia, Dr. Lehman regularly contributes to medical education at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her areas of expertise encompass bone and joint infectious disease and HIV.
Dr. Lehman enjoys world travel and has practiced medicine in a voluntary role in Guatemala and Brazil.
