About Brian Schroer

Biography

Dr. Schroer is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and allergy and immunology. He completed his undergraduate degree in history and biological anthropology and anatomy at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and he earned his medical degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. His post-graduate training includes combined training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. His specialty interests include food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, drug allergy and food and allergy immunotherapy.

Professional Highlights

Dr. Schroer is a founding board member and past president of the Ohio Allergy Immunology Society and serves on CME Committees for the AAAAI, ACAAI, and is current chair of the AAAAI CME Committee, is on the AAAAI Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease (EGID) Committee and Health Information Technology and Information Committee (HITE). He also serves as a journal reviewer for the journals Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice, and the Annals of Allergy. He is also involved with teaching medical students and allergy and immunology fellows. He has been involved with training medical students and clinicians in learning relationship centered communication skills.
