Biography
Dr. Hill is the Director of the Lymphoid Malignancies Program and a Staff Physician in the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and earned his Ph.D. in genetics through work done at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He conducted his hematology/oncology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. His clinical and research focus is in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and lymphoma. He is the principal investigator of multiple on-going clinical trials of new cancer treatments including novel cellular therapies and has published extensive research articles pertaining to these topics. He serves as the Chairman of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee within the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, the Cleveland Clinic Board of Governors Professional Advancement Council and on the editorial board of several peer reviewed journals. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine is an active member of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, American Society of Hematology (ASH), and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and committee member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).

Dr. Hill is the best at the one thing that matters most - saving your life. Over the last twelve years, he has done that for me three times. Under pressure from the quick downward spiral of CLL/SLL, he orders and analyses complex cellular tests. He then selects and prescribes the one specific newly approved treatment that has the best chance of working. Absent his skill, I would not be here today to write this.
