I''ve been a UPMC patient for many years. As an aortic valve replacement patient (10 years ago at UPMC), I''ve had a lot of cardiac experience with UPMC. In recent years I''ve begun feeling like I''m on a back burner there. It''s like they are waiting for my next problem to occur so they can be reactive. It was even difficult for me to get an appointment with a cardiologist. In this first visit to Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Abadie completely changed my attitude. He showed great interest in my case history and took extra time to get up to speed with me. He made medication changes and mapped a path forward. He was honest in his concerns for me and when/what follow up I need. Dr. Abadie earned my respect and confidence. I feel I have a fresh start. I''m thankful I decided to try the Cleveland Clinic!
