Biography
Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Lanham, Maryland, he began his undergraduate education at University of Virginia, where he studied for two years before transferring to University of Maryland, College Park. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Following graduation, he worked as a neurodiagnostic technician in Maryland for several years before pursuing physician training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 1992.
After completing graduate education, he practiced in vascular surgery for six years, followed by five years in nephrology and internal medicine. In 2003, he transitioned into neurosurgery, developing extensive experience in both spine and brain surgery over the course of 18 years.
In 2012, he relocated to Martin County, where he practiced neurosurgery for nine years at Martin Health, now part of Cleveland Clinic. Since 2020, he has been practicing orthopaedic surgery at Cleveland Clinic, with a primary focus on upper extremity and peripheral nerve surgery in collaboration with Dr. Peter Evans.
His clinical interests include peripheral nerve surgery, upper extremity reconstruction, shoulder arthroplasty, tendon transfers, neuroplasty, and complex nerve reconstruction procedures.
