Biography
Chase Kahn, MD, is a rhinologist and endoscopic skull base surgeon who practices the full spectrum of rhinology, with clinical interests spanning inflammatory sinonasal disease, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, sinonasal neoplasms, and minimally invasive endoscopic approaches to anterior skull base pathology.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Kahn is a former collegiate baseball pitcher who values mentorship, teamwork, and family. Dr. Kahn earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and served as chapter president. He subsequently completed residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Neuro-Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where he has trained under internationally recognized leaders in endoscopic skull base surgery.
Following fellowship, Dr. Kahn remains on faculty within the Cleveland Clinic Rhinology and Skull Base Division, with his expertise in complex rhinology, advanced endoscopic skull base surgery, and multidisciplinary management of sinonasal and anterior skull base disease.
Dr. Kahn's academic interests include chronic rhinosinusitis, olfactory dysfunction, sinonasal and skull base tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leak repair, healthcare quality improvement, and perioperative outcomes research. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and is actively involved in clinical research focused on improving patient outcomes, surgical quality, and value-based care in rhinology and skull base surgery.
