Christopher T. Bajzer, MD, is a Staff Cardiologist in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Bajzer is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. He specializes in coronary intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and carotid and cerebrovascular intervention.

Education and Training: A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, Dr. Bajzer completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak in Michigan. He served an additional year at William Beaumont as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Bajzer completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.

Research and Publications: Dr. Bajzer’s research activities include serving as a co-investigator for trials involving carotid angioplasty and stenting. He also is the principal investigator or co-investigator for several other trials related to coronary and peripheral vascular intervention. In addition, he has authored articles and book chapters on coronary, peripheral vascular and carotid intervention.

About Dr. Bajzer: “I enjoy my field most because it allows me to use every aspect of what I’ve trained to do since the beginning of my college career. From engineering to medical school to cardiology, it all kind of flowed.”

I can't say enough good things about Dr Bajzer!! He explained everything in detail in a way that I could understand and process the information. I know this is an old term, but his bedside manner was fantastic. I would recommend Dr.Bajzer and the Cleveland Clinic to anybody that is looking for the best healthcare!

Healthcare administration for over 25 years and my experience as a patient was the best I have ever witnessed, and I felt so respected, so listened to and incorporated into the treatment and decision making process! Dr Bajzer is a superb specialist and professional in every way. I learned a tremendous amount of information about my current condition and our path forward in my treatment. Dr. Bajzer was excellent! He was very easy to talk to, drew pictures of where my problem was, discussed options and anything else we didn't even think of! My husband was with me and we both were very impressed with his knowledge and ability to speak in a way we both could clearly understand about the problem. Thank you, Dr. Bajzer! Definitely would highly recommend him and see him again if needed.

I saw several different cardiologists at CCF before I met Dr. Bajzer. He is easy to talk to and reviews the options of treatment before any decisions are made. The team works well together and communication between visits is managed well through Mychart.
