Education: Dr. Hanak is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health, Cincinnati, and a vascular surgery fellowship at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tenn. She joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2023 following completion of her fellowship.
Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Hanak has coauthored papers published in leading peer-reviewed cardiothoracic surgery journals, including reports on complicated patient cases, and presented at national medical meetings. She is a reviewer for Journal of Vascular Surgery.
About Dr. Hanak: “Vascular patients are the reason I became a vascular surgeon. A new vascular disease diagnosis can be frightening and unclear. It is a privilege to partner with my patients to create individualized treatment plans that allow them to return to activities they enjoy. I am committed to treating patients like family.”
Leisure Activities: Outside of work, Dr. Hanak enjoys golf and following Ohio State football and athletics at her alma mater, John Carroll University.
