Biography


Daniel “Cody” Lollathin PA-C, CAQ-OS is a nationally certified and state licensed Physician Assistant in the orthopaedic care team at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. As an Ohio native, Cody was born near Steubenville and continues to call Ohio his home. Cody follows in the footsteps of his mother, who has a 10-year head start working as a Physician Assistant in orthopaedics. 

Cody completed his undergraduate training at the age of 19 from the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. Cody was accepted into the highly competitive inaugural class at The University of Dayton and was awarded his degree in 2016. Cody has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery, an additional and optional qualification for Physician Assistants who have extensive experience and clinical skills in orthopedic care.

Cody’s areas of expertise include orthopaedic diagnosis and care across a range of subspecialties. As the team’s first PA in 2017, Cody has worked personally with each physician and subspecialist in the practice.Cody’s skills in wound management and repair comes from training as part of the plastic surgery group in the only regional burn center of the Dayton area. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, Ohio Association of Physician Assistants, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Cody comes from a community background with a community focus. He firmly believes in developing and maintaining an active relationship between the patient and healthcare provider to deliver optimal care, resulting in improved patient quality of life and physical ability.
