Biography
Damien Billow, MD, is a staff physician in the department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He trained in Orthopaedics at the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Residency Program, and did additional training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Vanderbilt University. He specializes in acute fracture care of the upper and lower extremities, including pelvis and acetabulum. He also treats nonunion and malunion fractures.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as well as a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
Dr. Billow is interested in new techniques in fracture care and nonunions, as well as teaching others. He won the Resident Teacher of the Year Award in 2015. He is involved in research on Vitamin D, nonunion and hip fractures.

Dr Billow was dismissive and barely made eye contact. He didn't ask about my activities or goals for recovery. It seemed as if I was disturbing his schedule
