Biography
Daniel Redle, MD, is an interventional cardiologist in the Section of Regional Cardiovascular Medicine of The Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He sees patients at Mercy Hospital Medical Office Building and performs procedures at Mercy Hospital.
Specialty Interests: Intervention on STEMI patients, high-risk/complex percutaneous coronary intervention, intervention on and management of cardiogenic shock patients, percutaneous aspiration thrombectomy of large pulmonary embolisms, heart failure, echocardiography, pericardiocentesis of patients in cardiac tamponade
Experience: Dr. Redle is experienced in performing percutaneous coronary interventions for heart attack, cardiogenic shock, heart failure and other complex cardiac problems. He performs and reads hundreds of echocardiograms annually for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning.
Dr. Redle is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology and echocardiography.

Education: A northeast Ohio native, Dr. Redle is a graduate of Northeast Ohio Medical University, Rootstown, Ohio. He served his internal medicine residency at Summa Health Medical Center, Akron, Ohio. He completed his training there with a three-year cardiovascular disease fellowship followed by a one-year fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Redle joined the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital staff in 2025 on completion of his training.
Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Redle has been involved in research since medical school and currently is involved in a quality improvement project related to endocarditis treatment at Summa Health System. He has coauthored research abstracts published in medical journals and made presentations at local, regional and national medical meetings, including the Ohio American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Vascular Disease Council.

Leisure Activities: Outside of work, Dr. Redle enjoys spending time with his wife and children, fishing, playing board games, reading, playing sports and hanging out with his brothers and friends.

Had an excellent visit. Dr Redel was very thorough and explained his reasoning for my treatment. He took time, showed me my echocardiogram and was very concerned.
