Biography
David Goldfarb, MD, has been at Cleveland Clinic for more than 20 years. Following graduation in 1985 from Temple University School of Medicine, he completed his residency and an AFUD scholarship at Cleveland Clinic. He developed clinical expertise in renal transplantation, kidney tumor surgery and benign prostate surgery. In 2003, he became the Surgical Director of the Renal Transplantation Program at the Glickman Urological Institute.
He is distinguished as a two-time appointee to the American Board of Urology Exam Committee. He was the inaugural President of the Paired Donation Consortium, a non-profit organization dedicated to provide paired donation to incompatible renal transplant patients. Dr Goldfarb recently completed a term as president of the Urological Society for Transplantation and Renal Surgery.
Dr Goldfarb has published more than 80 scientific papers and 20 book chapters. He lectures worldwide on various aspects of renal transplantation.
