Biography
Dr. David Magnuson is a Staff Surgeon at Cleveland Clinic, Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery (2023-present). He served as Chairman, Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery, Cleveland Clinic (2007-2023) and Chief, Section of Pediatric Surgery, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital (2001-2006). He graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Biology (1979) and went on to the University of Minnesota Medical School where he was granted his MD (1984). He went to University of Washington Medical School for General Surgery Residency (1984-1991) and served at Seattle Children's Medical Center in the Pediatric Surgery Fellowship (1991-1993).
