Dr. Rosen joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2018. He has interest in all aspects of colon and rectal surgery, including colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, anorectal diseases, and pelvic floor dysfunction. He performs laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgery. He was named the section head of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in 2022.

Dr. David Rosen was excellent in communicating with us. He took time to answer questions and invested much of the appointment explaining options, procedures, tests and test results. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. His bedside manner was extremely professional and kind.

David Rosen, MD was incredibly kind, extremely thorough in answering questions and providing information, and very knowledgeable. His expertise as a colorectal surgeon gave me and my husband great comfort prior to an unexpected and urgent surgery. He provided updates and test results as soon as they were made available. His communication is immediate, thorough and kind.

Dr Rosen is a surgeon but even after he determined that surgery was last resort he followed through with North Shore GI to come up with treatment plan!
