This was my first time seeing Dr. Shewmon and I was very nervous about having the FNA done. He took his time and explained everything thoroughly, he answered every question I had. He also gave me information about other health issues that I wasn''t previously aware of. I really appreciate him taking the time to go through everything, the process, making sure I was properly numbed, and asking throughout the procedure if I was ok. I feel he is a caring Dr and I didn''t feel like he dismissed my symptoms or made me feel like I was crazy, which I have experienced with other drs. Him and Dr. Whitmer are wonderful drs.

Very good doesn't seem like a high enough rating for Dr. Shewmon. He is simply the best physician I have ever had. His care for his patients is unparalleled. He wants the best for them and makes sure he provides it. He even goes out of his way to help in areas that are outside his scope by connecting or recommending people. He constantly thinks outside the box. I don't know what I would do without him!
