I felt heard. I had called and sent pictures to my doctor and was told to put cortisone on my foot. This was after I explained that a tick was embedded in my foot. I started to show symptoms of lyme disease (tingling in arms and hands, joint pain and foot was clearly infected and getting bigger around the tick bite) . The doxycycline was the difference in getting better.
