About Douglas Harley

Biography

Dr. Douglas W. Harley graduated from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM) Athens campus in 2002. He completed his Family Medicine residency at St Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH in 2005. Prior to arriving at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in the fall of 2009, Dr. Harley cared for patients at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Youngstown and Urgent Cares in Warren. Dr. Harley has always been interested in teaching, leadership, and organized medicine. He has served in leadership positions with the Ohio Osteopathic Association, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, and within Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Dr. Harley became Program Director of the Center for Family Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Harley and his wife, Danielle, have two children and enjoys outdoor and family activities.

    There's only so much of Dr. Harley to go around, so it's very hard to get an appointment to see him.
