Eleanor Wood, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic medicine, including sports injuries, fractures, and acute and chronic conditions of the upper and lower extremities. she cares for patients from adolescence through adulthood and focuses on treatment plans that restore mobility and support long-term function.
She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Her background in movement science and rehabilitation informs her comprehensive, evidence based approach to musculoskeletal care.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic in 2023, Eleanor practiced with University of Virginia Orthopaedics, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide range of orthopaedic conditions in a high level academic setting. She is committed to patient education and shared decision making, helping individuals feel informed and confident throughout their recovery.
Originally from Southern Maryland, Eleanor now lives on the Treasure Coast with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, playing volleyball, running and spending time on the water. She remains active in the community and volunteers locally when opportunities arise.
