Biography
Dr. Betsy Kirchner is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Medieval Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at The Ohio State University in 2020.
Betsy has worked at the Cleveland Clinic since 2000 in the Immunology department. She provides care for patients with HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, lupus, and psoriatic arthritis as well as other autoimmune inflammatory diseases.
She is board-certified in Rheumatology Nursing and is co-President of the Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers (RhAPP). Betsy has published several articles and book chapters and has spoken at select national and international meetings. Her work-related areas of interest include vaccines and the effects of nutrition, activity and stress on autoimmune disease.

Dr. Kirchner was very helpful by sharing her knowledge and explaining everything very well! I came away from my visit with her with a MUCH better understanding of what was needed to keep myself on track! I would recommend Dr. Kirchner to everyone who would benefit from her knowledge

Betsy has been helping me with my hips for about two years and I've never been able to get such comprehensive care at home in Erie, PA. Betsy takes time to inquire what has changed with my health and how it's affecting my life. She has been very supportive listening to my issues and finding a good solution for me.

Betsy Kirchner is remarkable. She got me through a really difficult time with my gout. Her guidance was life changing. She honestly is the best there is. She is smart, caring and compassionate. I have recommended her to a few friends who absolutely love her as well.

My husband had seen Elizabeth a few years ago and she really took the time to listen to him so I knew I wanted to see her. She did the same with me and I wanted to give her a hug! She's just a wonderful person with a very caring heart!
