Biography

Dr. Alley attained his MD and PhD at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Alley was in private practice in Pennsylvania for 10 years before returning to the University of Pennsylvania to focus on thoracic cancers. He served as the Chief of Hematology/Oncology for Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and was also co-director of the Penn Mesothelioma and Pleural Malignancy Program. In March 2019, Dr. Alley joined the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic Florida where he serves as Section Head for Thoracic Oncology with a clinical focus on lung cancer, mesothelioma and other thoracic cancers.
