Dr Al-Ashkar is one of the best doctor's I've ever seen. She asks questions to understand your goals and what motivates you as a person. She really works in partnership with the patient which is so, so rare these days. She does not push her views or recommendations, but instead recommends ,discusses and negotiates an agreed upon approach with the patient.

She is attentive and focused on my care at all if my appointments. I don't feel like she is just trying to get through the visit and move on to the next patient. She is genuinely concerned with helping me and working with me to treat my condition and live well.

Dr Al Ashlar was as always very thorough with her exam and questions. The doctor was excellent in every way. She was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. She let me ask questions and gave clear answers. I learned a great deal and feel my health will be better because of her concern and care.

I was mistaken about my appt. , and arrived late. Would have understood if Dr. Al-Ashcar was willing to squeeze me in and insisted it was was not a problem for her to see me. She spent un-rushed time with me! I so appreciated this from her!

Dr. Ashkar is one in 1 million as far as doctors relating to patient. She cares deeply for her patience and is compassionate to their needs. She is very thorough in her assessment and the information she gives out about nutrition and lifestyle that affect the diagnosis. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a rheumatologist or has the diagnosis of osteoporosis.

Dr. Al-Ashkar has inspired me to obtain physical therapy as well as seeking out the Clinic program for weight loss. Dr.Al-Ashkar is thorough in her treatment. She went over my blood work results. Item by item. She advised me on the benefits of diet-based vitamins versus supplements. She referred me for a consultation on my bloodwork.
