Perhaps most ophthalmology appts move quickly once in room. This was my second appt w this Dr. Both times it seemed so high paced and rushed. Fortunately I had my questions organized. I didnt talk or ask questions while he was busy w me, so he could focus on providing the care.

I was able to see Dr Markarkis right away for my problem.

Dr. Markakis was very congenial, making it easy for me to ask my questions. He seemed glad to answer my questions and explained his answers thoroughly. I happily left, confident I have a great eye doctor.Looking at my papers at home later, I had another question and called the next day. I asked if I could ask Alyssa, who did my refraction, my question. She called me shortly and so nicely did and said If I have any other questions to call. It''s so nice to feel I can ask the doctor or staff a question without feeling I am irritating them. I feel so good having Dr Markakis for my doctor.

Scheduling is excellent as its done in Dr Markakis'' office before I leave my appointment.REscheduling is very difficult (to find a reasonable date), as I suppose he has very many patients who schedule very well in advance. But the schedulers are always very pleasant.

Dr Markakis is a very personable, approachable, skilled doctor. He even encouraged me to be in contact with progress reports.
