I was extremely pleased that the GI department is working in tandem with psychologists such as Dr. Witcher. This is a unique service and an excellent addition to the medical services provided. She brought a helpful, different perspective to my treatment.

Dr.Ventura Witcher is an outstanding provider. She is empathetic, knowledgeable, caring and full of excellent resources that she readily shares with patients. I learned a variety of new techniques from her and was very grateful that I was referred to her.

Dr. Witcher is among the best caregivers I have dealt with. Always prepared and attentive, and truly listens. Her feedback and treatment plans have been thoughtful, targeted, and incredibly helpful. She has also been very good at assisting me in navigating the care system at Cleveland Clinic, ensuring that I''m put in touch with the most appropriate staff and following up.

In October 2025, I was assigned a fellow on the GI team o oversee my case.I was not satisfied with the quality of engagement and concern for the difficulty of my situation. The treatment plan prescribed was not effective and I developed anemia and continued bowel obstructions. It is not until four months later when I was categorized failure to thrive that I have begun to receive the attention that I had hoped for in the first place - a staff GI physician, an excellent Colon Rectal surgeon, hematologist, dietician, etc.

She is amazing

Dr. Ventura-Witcher is amazing! She is very knowledgeable, empathetic, and thorough. She made me feel heard and validated. She provides comprehensive, individualized, care with an emphasis on treating you as a whole instead of just focusing on one system like most physicians. She was able to clearly identify and explain my treatment plan, and she ensures that you receive the best care from collaborative providers as well. I would highly recommend her and I wish I could continue care with her indefinitely!
