Dr. Velasquez took time to get to know me and my history as this was the first time I saw him (I recently moved to the area); he presented some new options to explore to resolve this chronic cough I have had in varying degrees for 3 years

He addresses my concerns, offers clear explanations with analogies, elicits questions and answers them honestly, and always provides encouragement. In addition, he shares tests and explains them clearly. He becomes excited when there are improvements in test scores, even if they are minor. I appreciate that when Dr. Velasquez shares goals for my progress, he uses We and not I.
