I''m a former anorexic whose weight loss journey has been fairly slow, but steady and at the end of my appointment the doctor said lose weight (as part of my health plan), but not in a way that acknowledges my weight loss efforts and journey, just lose weight. That had a negative impact on me and diminishing my efforts.
