Dr. Choi is the Neurosurgery Residency Program Director and the Director of Spine Surgery in Florida.
Dr. Choi performs cranial and spinal surgeries for a variety of neurosurgical conditions.
Dr. Choi is a minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery expert (from simple to complex revision surgeries for degenerative, deformity, tumor, and trauma indications).
With his unique surgeon-engineer background, Dr. Choi leads translational engineering research for personalized spine surgery.
Dr. Choi is a board-certified fellowship-trained spine neurosurgeon (Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery), a biomedical engineer (PhD), and an inventor.

Dr. Choi was extremely thorough in his explanations of my condition and helpful when explaining my prognosis and surgery options. He opted for some more tests to have a better understanding of the damage. He was extremely thoughtful, kind and very patient while answering questions.

Since we live in Ft. Myers it's a two hour trip to Weston. That is the only difficulty I've experienced but I would never go to any other neurosurgeon if I had to travel for days. Dr. Choi is the only person I would trust to perform neurosurgery.

I cannot compliment Dr. Choi enough. He is certainly one of the very best physicians I have ever known and considering I have been an RN, BSN for more than 35 years that is saying a lot. He is not only brilliant but kind, caring and interested in me as a person, not just a patient.
