It’s helping them to understand the whole of their condition and to instill in them, and their families, a knowledge about their condition so that they can work with me to improve their heart health. Together, we are partners in managing their care.”
“In the catheterization laboratory, nothing is more gratifying than restoring blood flow in the heart of a patient who is critically ill due to a blocked artery. One minute they are gravely ill, the next they are stable and feeling much better. I believe I truly make a difference in patient’s lives and the lives of their loved ones. And I continue to work with these patients after they go home to help them prevent another heart attack and live normal lives. To me, caring for patients is a lifelong commitment. I cherish all the patients I have cared for in my career.”

Dr Tamis-Holland came into lab and did entire procedure without ever saying a word to me. She did not introduce herself nor did she ever address me. Total silence. I have had previous catha and Dr explained each step but Tami''s-Holland explained nothing. Her technical skills are probably fine but her communication skills are lacking
