Biography:
Jamil Syed, MD, came to Cleveland Clinic in 2022 after completing residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Prior to this he received his medical degree from the University of Florida.
His practice is focused on providing comprehensive prostate cancer care. He specializes in offering our community options in focal therapy (irreversible electroporation (IRE), high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for prostate cancer along with robotic radical prostatectomy. In addition, he manages benign urologic conditions including benign prostatic hypertrophy and kidney stones.

My doctor Dr.Syed, very caring person, always takes time to explain the outcomes of the test results, any question that I have he's always answered it with lots of care making sure that I understood what he was explaining to me.

Dr Syed is very personable. He is also very competent and I trust him totally. He explained my issues succinctly and reassuringly to the level of my understanding, helping me with my prognosis and a plan . I always leave his office feeling reassured . After my experience with Dr Sayed , I referred him to my next door neighbor. The good doctor gave me a complete examination and reassured me of one of my concerns ( which I had for years)! He took his time was compassionate, caring , thoughtful and thorough. He is the go to specialist!, for urology. I'm new to the area , he bought up the fact that Jet Blue will be flying out of Vero Airport along with Breeze. As he ended my medical visit he said , Welcome to Vero!

Dr. Syed is very caring. I feel he treats us with such care and concern as If we were family. He Is very knowledgeable and truly listens to us. When he Is In the room, even though we are older and slow we don't feel rushed. He has great bedside manners. I tell EVERYONE who has ears how wonderful he is at what he does. We have been privileged to have some good doctors especially at Cleveland Clinic and he is very high on my list! Great doctor and surgeon! I strongly feel he is one of the great assets on the staff Cleveland Clinic.
