About Jeffrey Brown

Biography

Jeffrey Brown, DO, is honored to be one of the inaugural physicians in the Cleveland Clinic’s Concierge Medicine practice in Cleveland, following years of dedicated service as a physician in the Department of Family Medicine. He also serves as a faculty member at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and has been recognized as a Distinguished Educator.

As an Osteopathic physician, Dr. Brown is committed to treating the whole person, recognizing the vital connection between body, mind, and spirit. His foundation in Family Medicine shapes his approach, emphasizing long-term relationships, preventive care, and personalized attention for patients at every stage of life. He provides care for both acute and chronic conditions and remains actively involved in the education and mentorship of future physicians. Dedicated to lifelong learning, he has completed mini-fellowships in Women's Health, Pediatric Behavioral Health and Endocrinology and regularly engages with emerging medical research to offer his patients the most current, evidence-based care. He has also co-authored several articles for the Health Essentials series.

Dr. Brown has held multiple leadership roles at the Cleveland Clinic, including serving as Family Medicine Section Head and Director of the Bridge program for aspiring future physicians. He was selected for the Cleveland Clinic’s Lead Forward cohort, which fosters the development of Cleveland Clinic's future leaders, and he is a Past President of the Northeast Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.

Patients frequently describe Dr. Brown as compassionate, thoughtful, and deeply committed to their well-being. He is known for being both an advocate and a clear communicator, making him a trusted partner in health for his patients and an inspiring teacher for his students.

Dr. Brown earned a degree in business from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and spent 15 years working as a computer programmer before returning to his childhood dream of becoming a physician. After completing Harvard University’s post-baccalaureate premedical program, he earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and is board-certified in Family Medicine. In his spare time he enjoys travelling with his family, rock climbing and playing golf, though not very well, he confesses.
