    PA JoEllen Kahnert's instinct that something other than medication side effects may be the cause of my fatigue and shortness of breath likely saved my life as the blood work confirmed an issue that she felt warranted an immediate emergency room visit. Turned out I had multiple pulmonary embolisms and was admitted for 2 nights/3 days. I am feeling much better and appreciate her care & concern versus minimizing the complaints as typical for an almost 89 year old patient.
