Dr. Butler was able to squeeze me in within the window of the VA authorization, so we didn''t have to wait for a new one. Otherwise, it''s very difficult to get an appointment and the wait in long.

Dr Butler answered my questions. It was a good exchange.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/1/2026
I waited six weeks for my appointment with Dr. Butler the week of the appointment. They had to cancel it and then they moved me another six weeks out and put me at the back of the line of all the other appointments instead of trying to fit me in sooner. I waited 12 weeks for this appointment. I worked at the clinic in neurosurgery and if we canceled somebody''s appointment, we didn''t move them to the back of the line. We squeeze them in somewhere since they''ve already waited so long.

Every visit with nurse leader and physician or physician assistant was excellent. I always felt like I was heard and included on conversations.

He was very kind, respectful, listened to me and explained everything to me thoroughly. I previously saw another neurosurgeon and Dr. Butler was 1,000 times better!

Would have preferred doctor would have used/drawn pictures of procedures entailed in the surgical process to fix my back problems. Also would have taken time to discuss pros and cons of the surgery.
