Biography
John P. McLaughlin, DO is a staff physician within the Integrated Surgical Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. He received his medical degree from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011, graduating in the top ten of his class. He went on to complete an orthopaedic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic in 2016. Dr. McLaughlin obtained advanced training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Total Joint Surgery by completing the James A. Dickson Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2017.
He is an active member and Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Association. He is also an active member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. McLaughlin's specialty interests include robotic hip and knee replacement, navigated hip resurfacing, revision of painful or failed total joint replacements, complex hip and knee problems, and long bone fracture care.

Dr. McLaughlin and his team Andrew and Frank have been absolutely amazing!! When I had concerns, they answered all of my questions when I was nervous about my recovery they were patient and very informative. I would recommend them 1 million times over. I am on my way to finally walking normal if it wasn''t for them I''m not sure where I would be.

I have been seeing Dr. McLaughlin since 2023 and I have never had any problems getting into see him or Andrew. They have always been very accommodating.
