I just saw a nurse for basic things and the rest of my visit was with the doctor. I only gave 5s because I could not give 6s. I would highly recommend my doctor to anyone needing a cardiologist!

I have so much respect for Dr. Scharfstein. He is one the most well read, intelligent and skilled cardiologists that has cared for me. His ability to keep up to date with new literature, combined with having amazing recollection of my particular medical situation, led to my definitive diagnosis. Without the correct diagnosis, the treatment recommendations would have continued to merely be piecemeal.
