Biography
Justin Lee, MD, is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist in the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing of the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. Dr. Lee sees patients at Main Campus.
Specialty Interests: Ablation of atrial fibrillation, ablation of ventricular tachycardia, ablation of premature ventricular complexes (PVC)
Experience: Physicians in the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing use specialized approaches to diagnose and treat thousands of patients each year with a wide variety of abnormal heart rhythms. Dr. Lee is experienced in the diagnosis and management of these disorders, including pacing, implantable cardioverter defibrillation and cardiac resynchronization therapy.

Education: Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, Arizona. After serving as chief fellow in his final year of training there, he continued his training through a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Lee returned to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist and assistant professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2021. He joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2022.
Dr. Lee is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Lee is an avid clinical researcher in the areas of procedural outcomes and procedural innovation. He has coauthored more than 70 research papers published in leading peer-reviewed cardiology journals since 2013. He also has coauthored a number of textbook chapters related to cardiac pacing and lead extraction.
Dr. Lee frequently presents poster abstracts of his research at national medical meetings, including scientific sessions of the Heart Rhythm Society, American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.

My greatest strength as an electrophysiologist is my ability to offer patients the latest therapeutic approaches for their arrhythmias geared towards maximizing safety and optimizing outcomes.”
