Biography
Kathleen (Katy) Martinelli, MHS, PA-C is a 2002 graduate of the Duke Physician Assistant program and spent most of her career practicing in orthopaedics. However, in 2023 she transitioned to the pulmonary department at the Cleveland Clinic and is currently part of the Lung Cancer Screening and Lung Nodule program.
Katy has also spent much of her career as an educator of both students and peers through her extensive lecturing at national conferences and a variety of Physician Assistant Programs around the country. Teaching is a passion of hers and she enjoys the opportunity to share her knowledge with others whenever possible.
When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her husband and two children.

Kathleen Martinelli, Is very professional but down to earth. She has made us feel very comfortable and shows that she cares. She explains thing to where you can understand what is happening and what is going to happen as well as what the outcomes may be and the next steps. She is truly one of a kind.
