Dr. Hassan was great. He gave good detailed response to my CT scan, and took interest in my continued issues with cognitive side effects from Lorbrena. This was huge. He suggested options and outlined the potential benefits, emphasizing that my quality of life was important. I was very encouraged and grateful. I very much appreciated him asking twice how I was doing meaning beyond the cancer reduction or how I felt physically. I felt valued as a person vs just an ALK patient. His suggestions for how to deal with the cognitive side effects were great and mirrored studies I'd recently read in medical journals, which was additionally affirming. It was an altogether great visit and gave me the early Christmas gift of hope that comes from being given some options.

This is a very hard diagnosis for both patient and doctors to deal with. Dr. Hassan and Dr. Chana were both very courteous and explanatory.

Everything we needed, Doctor Hassan provided which was a really thorough explanation of contrasting the pet scan/CT from March 31 with the MRI/CT From July 16. He was encouraging, practical, and really helpful. We really appreciated his being knowledgeable and translating it in a way that we could easily understand. Couldn't have asked for a better first in person appointment with him.
