Biography
Kirk Haidet, MD, is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born and raised on the Westside of Cleveland in Rocky River.
After graduating from St. Ignatius High School, Dr. Haidet attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate degree and went on to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for his medical degree.
He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Toledo. After this, Dr. Haidet completed a Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Haidet’s specialty interests include shoulder, elbow and hand surgery including joint replacement, arthroscopy and fracture care.
He has published research in peer-reviewed orthopaedic surgery journals and is active in the community, providing team coverage for local high schools, including Lorain and Vermilion High Schools.

Dr. Haidet is one of the best physician''s I have ever seen. He is very good at putting your mind at ease and explaining what your options are. I would highly recommend him to anyone. No matter the field of study, Dr. Haidet is by far one of most sincere physicians I have ever encountered.

I'm tempted to say that I wouldn't recommend him because it takes so long to get to see him now. I don't want him taking on new patients. But he's such a good man and such a great doctor I would want everybody to have the same experience that I do.

Once you have an appointment, the care is top-notch; however, having people wait over 2 months to be seen when they're experiencing pain/discomfort is something the Cleveland Clinic needs to address. This is not a problem with the doctors/staff providing care; rather, it seems like a problem with the Clinic itself.

This was a great appointment and I was thrilled that the doctor that saw me was able to immediately drain the cyst and saved me an additional trip and took plenty of time in explaining what was going to happen. I was extremely happy with this visit
