Biography

Kshama Daphtary, MBBS, MD, MBI, is a staff physician in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. She currently serves as the Director of Pediatric Fellowship Programs and as the Lead of the Pediatric EMR Steering Committee at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Daphtary received her medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed residency training in pediatrics at NHL Medical College in India and at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She also earned a Master of Biomedical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Daphtary is board-certified in pediatric critical care medicine, pediatrics, and clinical informatics.

Dr. Daphtary has been honored by the American College of Critical Care Medicine for her achievements and contributions that demonstrate a personal commitment to critical care excellence and was inducted as a Fellow of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM). She has led and served on multiple committees within national professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Daphtary specializes in caring for critically ill and injured children, ranging in age from newborns to young adults. .
