Biography:
Laura Ridenour is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in orthopaedic oncology and adult joint reconstruction. Since 2020, she has been a valued member of the Cleveland Clinic, where she works alongside Dr. Jorge Manrique to deliver advanced, multidisciplinary care to patients with musculoskeletal tumors and complex joint conditions.
Laura's clinical expertise spans a broad range of orthopaedic care, including the management of osteoarthritis, fractures, and joint-related conditions. She is highly experienced in performing intra-articular joint injections and aspirations, interpreting imaging, and guiding patients through both preoperative and postoperative care. Her practice also includes supporting the clinical management of patients undergoing primary total hip and knee arthoplasty, revision procedures, and complex joint recontruction.
In orthopaedic oncology, Laura is deeply involved in the care of patients with both benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors. She has been instrumental in building the sarcoma program and serves as the designated sarcoma nurse practitioner supporting Dr. Manrique. Her responsibilities include initial staging , oncologic management, and long term surveillance in accordance with NCCN guidelines. She is an active participant in multidisciplinary sarcoma care, collaborating across specialties to ensure coordinated, evidence-based treatment.
